– Igen, van személyes Facebook-oldalam. Annyira nem vagyok mániákus, de megmondom őszintén, hogy amikor volt a szülinapom, nagyon sokan írtak. Ezen fölbuzdulva minden nap szánok arra öt-tíz percet, hogy megnézzem, hogy kinek van szülinapja a barátaim közül és küldök pár sort. Meg az nagyon tetszik benne, hogy a hírek pillanat alatt jönnek-mennek. Akár szomorú vagy vidám vagy csak figyelemfelkeltő dolgok. Telefont meg minden egyebet helyettesít egy ilyen közösségi oldal, meg jó, hogy egy helyen ott van minden.
– Hivatalos Facebook-oldalon nem gondolkodtál?
Nem. Annál én kishitűbb vagyok. Néha megnézem, milyen vélemények vannak rólam az interneten, eléggé megoszlik. De nem is szabad ezeket olvasni. Nekem az fontos, hogy akinek adok a véleményére, azoknak tetszik, amit csinálok. Általában olyanokkal találkozom, akik pozitív visszajelzést adnak. A negatívval azért nem találkozom, mert az inkább magában tartja. De a neten néha látok ilyet.

– Hogyan kezdődött a szinkronnal kialakult „szerelem”?
– A főiskolán volt szinkron óra, amelyet akkor Vas János tanár úr tartott. Amatőrként, mint Pinceszínházas mentem ki Mezei Éva nénihez a Pannóniába a Hűvösvölgyi útra.
A mai napig élvezem a szinkront, mert az nekem egy játék. Olyan, mint egy rapid sakkverseny – pláne, hogy most fölgyorsult a világ –, az ember bemegy, kezébe veszi a szöveget és egyszer csak meglátja a képet és rögtön mondani kell.
– A szakmában mindenki Pubinak becéz?

Még egy két tradicionális, mint az Ace Ventura vagy esetleg a Dumb és Dumber néha eszükbe jut azoknak, akikkel találkozom. Meg ugye van A maszk, amit emlegetni szoktak – azt ugye nem én csináltam –, és egy ideig még kijavítottam őket, most már inkább nem akarom a zavart „kelteni”.
– A maszk idején Jim Carrey még nem volt akkora fogalom. A szinkronrendező akkor még castingolt arra a filmre. Rátóti Zoltán lett így Jim Carrey, én pedig egy nyomozót játszottam. A múltkor ment valamelyik csatornán, belenéztem, és őszintén megmondom, hogy tetszett, amit hallottam.
– A Family Guy szinkronrendezője, Dóczi Orsolya milyen instrukciókkal látott el a munka elején?
– Dóczi Orsival már nagyon régóta ismerjük egymást. Megbízik bennem, szeret. Minden karakternek volt valami leírása. Peternek olyasmi volt, hogy „hülye, nagypofájú, ostoba barom”.
Family Guy, és Peter-fan vagyok. Meg kell nézni azt a dagadt fejét, imádom. Én azt gondolom, hogy egy ország szabadságfokát is jelzi, hogy egy ilyen sorozatot meg lehet csinálni. Sokszor vinnyogva röhögök, máskor meg könnybe lábad a szemem és bőghetnékem van, hogy ezeket ki lehet mondani. Magyarországon egy ilyen sorozatnak a töredéke sem készülhetne el, mert az összes párt, meg az ilyen -izmus meg olyan -izmus azonnal, lélekszakadva rohanna az ombudsmanhoz, a parlamenthez meg az alkotmánybírósághoz, hogy „ezt kikérem magamnak”. Én meg azt gondolom, hogy igenis ez a szabadság. Nem szabadosság, mert ugyanúgy osztja a zsidót, a katolikust, a feketét, a fehéret, ázsiait, tök mindegy. Nincs olyan, hogy valaki kimarad. Mindenki megkapja a magáét.
– Az eredeti változatban sok karakternek ugyanaz az ember adja a hangot. Például Peter, Brian és Stewie mind Seth MacFarlane különböző hangszínein szólal meg. A magyar változatban nem lehetett volna elképzelni, hogy egy színész több karakter hangját is elvállalja?
– Ez megint elhatározás kérdése volt a szinkronrendező részéről. Néha bennem volt a kisördög, hogy milyen lett volna több szereplőt is megszólaltatni. Az egy izgalmas játék lett volna. Volt egy nagyon jó kis négyrészes angol tévésorozat, amelynek Aprics László volt a szinkronrendezője. A 19. század legvégétől 1945-ig játszódott. A szereplők 17 évestől olyan 75-ig öregedtek, amelyet hangban nekünk követnünk kellett. Azt nagyon szerettem.
– Még a Kamaraszínházban az Egy szerelem három éjszakájában énekes szereped volt. Nem akartál soha a színházon kívül is zenélni?
– Nem, én tojógalamb vagyok. Pedig nagyon sok zenés darabban voltam benne. Imádok így danolászni, meg a lányaimnak énekelni, de a mai napig, ha énekes szerepem van, mindig stresszelek előtte. Szeretek énekelni, de nem vagyok annyira biztos magamban, hogy nyugodtan kiálljak egy közönség elé. A szinkron az más. Ott elvagyok, mint hal a vízben. Ott nehéz zavarba hozni.
– Milyen zenét hallgatsz?
– Nekem teljesen mindegy. A népdaltól az operettig jöhet minden. Múltkor bementünk a nejemmel az egyik bevásárlóközpontba egy ruhaüzletbe és öt perc után kezdtem úgy érezni magam, mint Michael Douglas az Összeomlás c. filmben. Hogy „most nekem innen ki kell mennem” – vártam rá ott a próbafülkéknél. Eleve kicsit furcsán éreztem magam, hogy várok a próbafülkénél, ahol tizenéves lányok álltak sorba. Ment ez a tuc-tuc zene és nekik a szemük se rebbent. Én pedig egyszer csak azt éreztem, hogy rezonálni kezd a csontom erre a zenére. Azt éreztem, hogy ha még egy percig maradok, akkor fölrobbanok. Ha nem robbanok föl, akkor elkezdem borogatni a polcokat. Fizikai rosszullét kerülgetett.

– A lovakat lelövik, ugye? c. színdarabban egy maratoni táncversenyről van szó, és te is táncra perdülsz.
– Igen, 11 pár ropja benne, amíg ki nem esik. Mi a második felvonás közepe előtt esünk ki. Maga a film, amin a darab alapul, a harmincas években játszódik, de a darab át van téve a napjainkba. Tehát ez egy csopaki táncverseny. Mutatott az Eszenyi Enikő, a rendező korabeli híradó felvételeket ilyen versenyekről és döbbenetes: az emberek úgy dőltek ki, mint a zsák. Addig nyomták, amíg bírták. Kidőltek, jöttek az ápolók és elvitték őket. A nézők meg, mint régen a rómaiak, ültek benn és nézték! Hátborzongató!
– Három lányod van. A legkisebb még nincs két éves. Ő hallott vagy látott már téged a tévében?
– Nem nagyon hagyjuk, hogy tévézzen. Bár, ahogy egyre nagyobb lesz, többet nézi. Gyerekkoromban még a grundon is azt mondták, hogy én „tévébuzi” vagyok. Amikor lementem a haverokhoz – igaz, akkor még csak egy csatorna volt –, percre pontosan elmondtam, egész este tízig a műsort, hogy mi lesz a tévében.
Luca – a legkisebb lányom – nem néz annyi tévét. Esetleg este, etetés közben egy kicsit. Mikor még kisebb volt, akkor a Baby TV-t nézte, amiben ugye nem nagyon beszélnek. Mostanában pedig a Mackó Show a nagy kék házban-t meg a Bogyó és Babócá-t szereti. Egyelőre talán még nem tűnne föl neki, ha hallana a tévében. Meg, hát egyébként is egész nap kapja tőlem a showműsort.
– A másik két lányod mit szól a munkádhoz?
– Fanni 16 éves, Nóra pedig 12. Büszkék rám, természetesen. Fanni, akármennyire is lázadó tinédzser, mikor a suliban többen is felkapták a fejüket, hogy az apja Peter Griffin hangja a Family Guy-ból, vagy régebben a Szamáré a Shrek-ből, az azért imponált neki. De már megszokták, hogy hallanak engem a tévében.
– Ők nem kokettálnak a színészettel, a szinkronizálással?
– Hál’istennek nem. Fannit abszolút nem érdekli. A Nóriban bizsereg valami, de szerintem csak annyira, hogy az apjának is ez a foglalkozása.
Manapság nagyon kevés olyan színész van, aki dolgozik sokat és még boldog is. Rengeteg olyan színész van, akinek elvileg megy a szekér és mégse boldog. Én még a Film Színház Muzsika generációja vagyok. A hetvenes években alig vártam a szombat reggelt, hogy mikor jön a postás és dobja be a Film Színház Muzsikát.
Ma meg csak az számít, mi volt tegnap a Megasztár-ban. Közben meg igazságtalan a világ, mert ki emlékszik már a korábbi évek versenyzőire? Ezek, mint a szappanbuborékok! A lányom most tanulja, hogy kell fújni, és rém boldog, ha sikerül neki.
A pályám legelején játszottam tévéjátékban. Ez ma már nincs. És ezért kérem ki mindig magamnak, mikor elkezdik, hogy „Kerekes József, szinkronszínész”. Nem, én színész vagyok és a szakmám egyik ága – amit elég gyakran csinálok – a szinkronizálás. Attól még színész vagyok, mert közben játszom színházban is. Az, hogy most éppen melyik megy jobban, az más kérdés. A régi nagyokra, akik sokat szinkronizáltak – merte volna valaki akkor azt mondani, hogy „XY, szinkronszínész”. Persze, hogy nem merte volna senki azt mondani, mert a szinkron mellett készült évi negyven tévéjáték, meg húsz nagyjátékfilm. Persze akkor is megvolt az a húsz-harminc ember, aki mindenben benne volt. De mivel nagyon sok film és tévéjáték készült, ezért majdnem a szakma egésze dolgozott, és lehetett őket látni.
– Mit csinálsz, mikor nem szinkronizálsz, vagy a színpadon játszol?
– A család mellett a kikapcsolódást az jelenti, mikor a kis kertünkben a ház körül tevékenykedem: amíg még nincs befüvesítve, azt én kapálgatom, fölásom, megmetszem a rózsákat, lepermetezem, kicsit megkapálom a virágokat. Az egyik szomszédtól – tündéri néni – kaptunk magról vetett paradicsomot. Amikor lehet, reggel kimegyünk Lucával és megnézzük, hogy hogy állnak a paradicsomok. Úgyhogy most van vagy 40-45 tövünk. Imádom – paradicsomot eszem paradicsommal –, szóval nem félek, hogy nem fogy el.
