A karácsonyi hangulatot évről évre egyre korábban szándékoznak létrehozni az áruházakban, boltokban. Az egyik áruházlácban már szeptember 29-én láttam szaloncukrot és Mikulás csokit. Az igazi hangulatot azért mégiscsak a hó, a hideg és a december hozza el.
Gyerekkoromban a karácsonyhoz a tévéműsor is hozzátartozott. Akkoriban pl. a Keménykalap és krumpliorr c. kitűnő sorozatot nézhettem végig minden évben, és soha nem untam meg. Mostanában keveset nézek tévét, de azért mégis minden évben végigböngészem a kínálatot.
A jól bevált recept, miszerint ismétlés a tudás anyja, az idén is működni látszik. Szinte minden csatorna karácsonyi filmek tucatjaival pakolja tele a műsoridőt, a sorozatok is állnak januárig. Ez még nem lenne baj, a felborult napi ritmus miatt úgysem akkor néz tévét az ember, amikor szokott. Az már nagyobb, hogy a rengeteg film szinte minden évben ugyanaz.
Lássunk néhányat. Télapu 1-2-3. A Karácsonyi ének különféle feldolgozásai, Muppet Show-val, Bill Murrey-vel, és az HBO-n a Jim Carrey-re hajazó animációs változat. Egyéb (nyomasztó, de kitűnő) Dickens-remekek. Családi filmek. Bibliai témájú műsor alig. Nívós meg még kevesebb. Még a közszolgálati tévék és a Duna TV próbálkozik vele, de szerintem lemarad a versenyben. Pedig a közhiedelemmel ellentétben ez az ünnep nem a szeretet ünnepe, hanem Jézus születéséé. (Tessék amúgy megnézni a sok „szeretetteli” embert egy plazában a Szenteste előtti napon…)
Annyi változás mégis van, hogy a korábbi évek sikerfilmjei a két ünnep közé csúsztak vissza. Babe, Grincs. Macaulay Culkin is csak akkor védheti meg az otthonát a betörőktől.
Sajnos a tévéműsor az idén sem jelentett pozitív csalódást. Azt hiszem, előveszek egy réges-régi videókazettát, ami már kopott és kissé nyúlott, de rajta van egy kitűnő film, amit viszont nem tudok megunni, és inkább azt nézem meg. A címe Az élet csodaszép. 1946-ban készült, de a mondanivalója örök. James Stewart vagy Donna Reed nevét ma már kevesen ismerik, ami valóban kár. Aki nem ismerné ezt a mozit, röviden annyít, hogy adva van egy férfi, aki egy nap úgy érzi, hogy jobb lett volna, ha meg sem születik. Melyikünk nem gondolkodott még el ezen, ha rossz időszak jött az életében? Vajon van-e értelme annak, hogy élünk? Nem lenne jobb mindenkinek nélkülünk? George Bailey lehetőséget kap, hogy megnézhesse, mi történne, ha ő meg sem született volna. Egy Terrence nevű angyal, aki a szárnyait szeretné megszerezni, mutatja meg neki a lehetséges múltat és jelent. Nem árulom el a végét, érdemes megnézni, de happy end lesz. Ha ezt a filmet látom, úgy érzem, tényleg van értelme az életnek, és el tudom hinni, hogy az emberek alapjában jók és segítőkészek. A szívmelengető történet mellett a film szinkronja is csemegéket tartalmaz. A főhős magyar hangja Benedek Miklós, akit nem sűrűn hallani szinkronban. Clarence, az angyal pedig Feleki Kamill, akit nem emlékszem, hogy hallottam volna egyetlen más filmben.
Karácsony után máris itt a szilveszter. A „kötelező” jókedv, a petárdák durrogása, amitől retteg a kutyánk, a hangzavar, ami miatt nem lehet aludni se felnőttnek, se gyereknek, nem az én világom.
Az ébrenmaradásban a tévéműsor sem sokat segít. Szintén a bevált sztereotípiák, ezredszer leadott vígjátékok, rajzfilmek. Nem beszélve a különböző csatornák kétségbeesett és felesleges erőlködéséről, hogy valami humoros műsorral álljanak elő. Ez sajnos, csak erőlködés marad. Gyerekkoromban ott volt Hofi Géza szilveszteri műsora, ami biztos pont volt az amúgy akkor sem túl nagy szám szilveszteri műsorokban, később a Vastyúk is talál szeget adásai, de manapság még ilyen műsorok sincsenek. Vagy talán mégis? Az M1-en Galla-parádé lesz, ebbe talán érdemes lesz belenézni. Utána pedig ritka élmény a mai magyar televíziózásban, színházi közvetítés következik, Egy csók és más semmi. Január 1-jén délelőtt főleg gyerekműsorok a másnapossággal ébredező szülők kedvéért, utána pedig már vissza is térünk az unalmas, szürke hétköznapokhoz.
