Nekem ez nem nehéz, inkább élvezetes. Szeretném jól csinálni, mert nagyszerű színésznőt szinkronizálok, akit imádok. Finom játékai vannak, amit sokszor visszaadnék, de ugye nem lehet a szeme villanását, vagy egy aprócska kis grimaszát hangban tovább vinni – osztotta meg gondolatait a művésznő.
Imádnivaló a milliő, amiben a történet játszódik. Néha, annyira belefeledkezem a képekbe, hogy néha elnézést kérek Kiss Virág rendezőtől, mert harmadszorra nem kezdek bele a szövegbe. Nagyon el tud kápráztatni egy kalapdísz, egy kesztyű, egy ruhán. Hihetetlen a látvány, és isteni színészi játékot kapunk, nemcsak Magie Smithtől, akit én szinkronizálok, hanem a többiektől is.
A munka során számomra az a fontos, hogy a néző azt érezze, mikor olvasom a szöveget, hogy “őt látom játszani”. Azt szeretném visszaadni a hangommal, amit a fülesben hallok. És nagyon bízom abban, hogy ez valamennyire lehetséges!
Sokszor állítanak meg úton-útfélen, hogy nagyon szeretik a hangomat. Ilyenkor mindig elmondom, hogy ez furcsa, de nagy öröm a számomra. Ilyenkor úgy gondolom, hogy ha ők szeretik, és én imádom ezt a munkát, akkor csak jó sülhet ki belőle.
Számos karakán, erőskezű hölgy – mint pl Judy Dench – hangjaként is hallhatjuk.
Igen, mert a hangom tud nagyon kemény és élcelődő lenni. Nem véletlen, hogy a színházban is mindig a tragikomikus szerepeket kapom. Amiben azért valamennyi humor is van, de azért ott lebeg a játékban az a hajszál, hogy most elsírja magát a néző, vagy nem. És ez mindig nagyon izgalmas. Downtonban is szükség van minden árnyalatra.
30-40 évvel ezelőtt voltam Angliában, és emlékszem először nem kaptunk vízumot, amitől én őrjöngtem. Camebridge-be mentünk volna, ott lakott a barátnőm. Lord Caldor a család barátja járta ki, hogy végül kijuthassunk. Egy hónapig voltunk ki, és elég sok Violet jellegű barátnője volt, akikkel nem mindig tudtam, hogy kell viselkedni. A kaja is rémes volt, nem tudtam megenni. Végül behoztak egy nagy tál epret, és habot. Na, gondoltam ebből most belakmározok. A barátnőm meg mondta, hogy vigyázzak, mert a krém nem tejszín, hanem tömény vajkrém. Viszont a délutáni tea nagyon megmaradt bennem.
Igazából szinte mindent szeretek játszani., amikor mondják, hogy “milyen jó volt ebben”, arra gondolok, hogy “és látnád majd milyen jó leszek abban”!
Nincs okom panaszra, mivel játszom rendszeresen, és megismernek az utcán. A hangomat is mindenhol felismerik. Ez elismerés! Más országban, más körülmények között nyilván más lenne a helyzet.
Nagyon felkapott volt a Szomszédokban.
Igen, még ma is felismernek, persze eddig legalább háromszor ismételték, szóval nem csoda. Az ott szövődött barátságok nagy része még ma is megvan.
El tudja képzelni, hogy igazi nyugdíjasként otthon üljön, és pihenjen?
Meg is őrülnék. Addig szeretnék játszani, amíg a lábam és a fejem bírja. Mert amint észreveszem, hogy nem úgy tanulok, vagy gondot okoz a szerep, én abban a pillanatban leteszem a lantot.
