A fickót Sean Connery-nek hívják, aki azóta is rengeteg női szívet tört apró darabokra. Utána többen játszották már a világon mindenütt ismert angol titkos ügynököt, de sokak szerint Ő maradt az etalon. Kollégái igyekeztek minden újabb- és újabb akcióba belevinni egyéniségüket, aminek köszönhetően James Bond figurája nem öregedett csak egyre jobban szinesedett.
Néhány évvel később aztán megszólalt magyarul is. Az akkori rendszer „előnyeinek” köszönhetően először nem is Connery, hanem utóda Roger Moore jutott el a szélesebb közönségnek. Az angol művész persze nem tudta, hogy e szerep eljátszása előtt már évek óta rendelkezett önálló magyar hanggal. A kíváló magyar színművész, Láng József akkor már túl volt az Angyal-os korszakon.
– Először, mint Simon Templarként találkoztam Roger Moore-ral – meséli Láng József. Később feketén csináltam meg az Octopussy című moziját, amely a magyar fordításban a Polipka nevet viselte. Ezután még négyszer volt szerencsém ugyanezt a filmet magyarul megszólaltatnom. Mivel mindegyik Roger Moore-os Bond-mozit szeretem, ezért soha nem okozott gondot az ő magyar hangját adnom. Egyébként abban a szerencsében volt részem, hogy három alkalommal személyesen is találkozhattunk. Egyszer éppen a szinkronstúdióban voltam. Sztankay István kollégámmal. A Minden lében két kanál egyik epizódján dolgoztunk, amelynek ugye szintén Moore az egyik főszereplője. Az egyik tekercs után kinéztem a vezérlőfülkébe, és a szinkronrendező mögött meglepve vettem észre a békésen álldogáló angol művészt. Meglepetésemben hirtelen meg sem tudtam szólalni. Szóltam Sztankaynak, hogy nézzen ki ő is, hátha káprázik a szemem. Hirtelen nem is értette, hogy mit akarok tőle.
Később kiderült, hogy Moore üzleti úton járt Magyarországon, és amikor felajánlották neki, hogy látogassa meg a szinkronstúdiót, ő ezt örömmel megtette. Amikor kértem tőle egy dedikált fotót a gyermekeim számára, ezt írta rá:” apukátok hangja szebb az eredetinél.” A magánéletben is mindig igazi angol úriemberként viselkedő művész sok örömet okozott munkáival a pályámon. Az Angyalos időkben még a szerepét is eljátszhattam egy színházi komédiában, amelynek a címe az volt, hogy Simon Templar Budapesten.
A legelső Bond magyarhangja Vass Gábor a győri színház művésze.
– Már bevált „formulának” számít, hogy az idős Connery-nek Kristóf Tibor, az ifjabbnak pedig én adom a magyar hangját- tájékoztat a színész. Ezért sem volt számomra szokatlan a munka. Ezeket a szinkronokat jó néhány esztendővel ezelőtt készítettük, talán még a Pannónia szinkronstúdió fénykorában. A hangommal igyekeztem azt a férfieszményt emelni, amelyet a színész alakított ki a figura első megformálásával. Azért szeretem a filmjeit, mert legtöbbször jó szerepekben látható. Nem hinném, hogy a James Bond figurával kialakított skatulya a kárára vált volna. Sok színész szívesen vállalná az ilyen fajta megkülönböztetést, hiszen gyönyörű nők között, egzotikus helyszíneken lehet játszani.
– Előfordult-e, hogy a hangja alapján valahol felismerték?
– Egyszer egy szegedi kis boltba tértem be vásárolni. Elmondtam, hogy mit kérek, s amíg az eladólány összerámolta, láttam, hogy erősen gondolkodik valamin. Rám nézett, és azt kérdezte, hogy színész vagyok-e. Felébredt bennem a kisördög. Ártatlan szemekkel ránéztem és mondtam neki, hogy én aztán nem. Ő pedig csak erősködött, hogy de bizony az vagyok, mert nagyon ismerős számára a hangom. Én persze csak mondtam a magamét, hogy nem vagyok színész. A kislány néhány másodperc múlva kibökte, hogy szerinte én vagyok a Vass Gábor. Persze erre is csak nemmel válaszoltam, amitől teljesen kétségbeesett. Szerintem azóta is azon gondolkozik, hogy ki volt az a vicces vásárlója.
Az is előfordult, hogy egy kórházban a nővértől kellett valamit kérnem. Mivel fontos dolog volt ezért teljes férfiúi sármomat bevetve szóltam a nővérnek. Ő, ahelyett, hogy segített volna rám nézett és búgó hangon azt mondta: ”ÓÓ, beszéljen még hozzám!”, persze a kérésemet nem nagyon akarta teljesíteni.
Roger Moore után megüresedett helyet nehezen tudták pótolni. Egy alkalommal George Lazenby személyén keresztül követhettük nyomon a 007-es kém munkáját. A szakma és a nézők összehangzó véleménye alapján az egyik legkevésbé sikerült része ez lett a sorozatnak. A színész magyarhangja Csernák János:
– A Dr. No-ban láttam először James Bondot, amellyel munkakapcsolatba is kerültem. Vass Gábor mellett én is leszinkronizáltam, így párhuzamosan hallható a film két hangja. A második változatot – valószínűleg – repülőkön fogják vetíteni. A figurát egyébként nem tartom egysíkúnak, hiszen minden egyes színész megpróbált valami pluszt becsempészni a saját egyéniségéből a szerepbe. Színészként is jó egy ilyen figurát eljátszani. Nem érzem úgy, hogy azonosulnék a szereppel, mivel csak egy alkalomról volt szó, és egyébként sem vagyok híve az ilyen típusú szerepfelfogásnak.
A sikertelen mozi után a sorozat tulajdonosai új színész után néztek. Így esett a választásuk Timothy Daltonra. Őt Vass Gáborral megosztva Selmeczi Roland szólaltatja meg magyarul.
– Még azt hiszem hangalámondásos változatban láttam az első filmet, amelynek Roger Moore volt a főszereplője – emlékszik vissza a Vígszinház ifjú művésze. Másokkal ellentétben szerintem ő az igazi Bond. Amikor lehetőségem van rá megnézem a filmeket, mert kiválónak tartom a sorozatot.
– Elég sokat szinkronizál. Melyik volt a legkedvesebb munkája?
– Évekkel ezelőtt készítettem el a Slyder-s című sorozatot. Ez egy időugrást elvégző fiatalemberről és társairól szólt. Minden epizód más korban és helyen játszódott, ezért is volt külön élvezetes szinkronizálni. Vannak olyan figurák, mint Brad Pitt vagy Antonio Banderas, akikhez érzelmileg kötődöm. Előfordult, hogy nem engem hívtak valamelyikük megszólaltatására, és bevallom ez nem esett túl jól a lelkemnek.
Miután Dalton sem vált be, ismét előtérbe került az egyszer már megkeresett Pierce Brosnan, aki boldogan mondott igent a felkérésre. Hasonló örömmel vállalta el a munkát magyarhangja Kautzky Armand is.
– Régi munka kapcsolat fűz a színészhez – meséli a Madách Színház művésze. A Remington Steele óta én vagyok az állandó hangja. Többek szerint, ha megszólal akkor egyértelműen olyan lehet a saját hangja mint az enyém. Hallottam már angolul megszólalni, de eredetiben kicsit keményebben beszél. Nemcsak ebben hasonlítunk egymásra. Bár ő néhány évvel idősebb nálam, de körülbelül azonos korú az én lányom és az ő legkisebb lánya. Ráadásul a habitusunk is majdnem megegyezik. Sajnálom, hogy most kerül bemutatásra az utolsó Bond film Brosnan-nal.
