Amiben azért valamennyi humor is van, de azért ott lebeg a játékban az a hajszál, hogy most elsírja magát a néző, vagy nem. És ez mindig nagyon izgalmas. Downtonban is szükség van minden árnyalatra.
30-40 évvel ezelőtt voltam Angliában, és emlékszem először nem kaptunk vízumot, amitől én őrjöngtem. Camebridge-be mentünk volna, ott lakott a barátnőm. Igazából szinte mindent szeretek játszani., amikor mondják, hogy „milyen jó volt ebben”, arra gondolok, hogy „és látnád majd milyen jó leszek abban”!
Nincs okom panaszra, mivel játszom rendszeresen, és megismernek az utcán. A hangomat is mindenhol felismerik. Ez elismerés! Más országban, más körülmények között nyilván más lenne a helyzet.
Nagyon felkapott volt a Szomszédokban.
Igen, még ma is felismernek, persze eddig legalább háromszor ismételték, szóval nem csoda. Az ott szövődött barátságok nagy része még ma is megvan.
El tudja képzelni, hogy igazi nyugdíjasként otthon üljön, és pihenjen?
Meg is őrülnék. Addig szeretnék játszani, amíg a lábam és a fejem bírja. Mert amint észreveszem, hogy nem úgy tanulok, vagy gondot okoz a szerep, én abban a pillanatban leteszem a lantot.
