– 
Egyfelől örültem a felkérésnek, viszont mindig hálátlan feladat egy jól megszokott párosítást átvenni. Amióta kiszivárgott a váltás híre kaptam már visszajelzéseket, amelyek nagyrésze pozitív volt. Ám tudom, hogy bárkire is osztják a figurát, biztosan lesznek elégedetlenkedők, akik ragaszkodnak ahhoz a hanghoz, akit éveken keresztül hallottak kedvencükként – mondta az adás utáni napon.
Így voltunk ezzel mi is, ezért felhívtuk Lippai Lászlót:
– 10 évadot csináltam végig Semirrel, így hozzám nőtt a szerep. Szivesen jártam szinkronizálni, jó 
volt a munka. Ám az évek folyamán nem nagyon emelkedett a gázsi – ahogy általában a szakmában sem nőttek az összegek – így a tizedik évad után jeleztem a szinkront készítő stúdiónak, hogy emelést szeretnék kérni, amely epizódonként 3-4 ezer forint többlet kiadást jelentett volna. Emellett voltak egyéb kéréseim is, amelyek mindegyikét megalapozottnak és teljesíthetőnek tartottam.
Sajnos a tárgyalások során a stúdió képviselőivel – hosszas egyeztetés után – sem sikerült megállapodnom, így a következő sorozat kezdetekor már mást hívtak helyettem dolgozni. Azóta úgy érzem, hogy a csatorna környékén sem látnak szivesen mivel egyéb produkciókban sem kapok már lehetőséget.
A szinkront készítő stúdió szakembere, akivel a művész tárgyalt, némileg árnyalja a képet:
– Nem állt szándékunkban lecserélni Lippai Lászlót, hiszen a kezdetektől kiváló munkát végzett, és mindannyian úgy gondoltuk, hogy ez így marad, amíg a sorozat véget nem ér, vagy az eredeti színész nem lép ki. A kérései közül nem is az anyagi volt a legproblémásabb, hiszen természetese, hogy egy olyan kaliberű művész, mint ő, magasabb gázsit kap, mint társai. Ez már máskor is előfordult, és ahogy lehetett igyekeztünk is minden ilyen irányú kérést teljesíteni.
Sajnos azonban a többi kérése már teljesíthetetlen volt, és mivel úgy tűnt, hogy nem akar azokon változtatni, így kénytelen voltunk mást hívni helyette. Nemcsak neki, de nekünk is rossz emlék marad ez a szakítás, de úgy éreztük, hogy a további forgatások zavartalanságának biztosítása miatt meg kellett lépnünk ezt a cserét.
Megkerestük az RTL Klub sajtóosztályát, hogy hivatalos véleményt kérjünk! Rényi Ádám sajtófőnök megerősítette a stúdió által elmondottakat. Bár a szinkron cserére – a műsorban – csak néhány napja került sor, de a tényleges szakítás több mint 1 éve volt, így mint Cobra 11 fan-ok megpróbáltunk közvetíteni. Megkérdeztük a tévé képviselőjét, hogyha sikerülne mégis megállapodni a színésszel, akkor visszakaphatná-e Semirt? Az RTL KLub sajtófőnöke azonban hárított: " nem szeretnék ezzel kapcsolatban találgatásokba bocsátkozni" – zárta le a témát.
– Ha a szinkronváltás miatt esne a nézettség, és adódna rá lehetőségem, természetesen szívesen visszaadnám Lippai Lacinak a karaktert. Sőt, én lennék a legboldogabb tőle, mert az azt jelentené, hogy az embereket mégis csak érdekli a magyar szinkron – egészítette ki Seszták Szabolcs a véleményét a cseréről.
