Ilyen színházi pálya mellett mennyire áll közel Önhöz a szinkronizálás? Mit jelent Önnek a filmkészítésnek ez a speciális ága?
– Nagyon jó, hogy Magyarországon van szinkron – nem minden országban van ugyanis. Nálunk ennek hagyománya van, megszokták és elvárják az emberek. Remek munka a színészek számára, kényelmes a nézőknek, és egyben változatos művészi feladat. Jó, hogy nem kell rá előre felkészülni, de mégis színészi kihívást jelent. A koncentrációnak olyan foka, ami felpezsdít.
– Számtalan játékfilm mellett eddig három sorozatban működött közre (Elveszett világ, Szívek szállodája, Született feleségek). Ha lehet választani, Önhöz melyik áll legközelebb?
– A Szívek szállodáját nagyon szerettem, mert rendkívül jó volt a csapat, kiváló szinkronrendező, hangmérnök dolgozott egy jó stúdióban, igényesen kiosztott szerepekkel, és olyan partnerekkel, akik inspirálták az embert. Nagyon édes volt lányomként Bogdányi Titanilla, Luke-ként László Zsolt, Földi Teri, Bács Ferenc. És az egészen kiváló Aprics László, akit nagyon tisztelek, és kivételes formátumú rendezőnek tartok. Ha egy ilyen remek csapat dolgozik, akkor egy könnyedebb dolog is egészen más akusztikát kap. A sorozat az amerikai családi vígjátékoknak egy kifejezetten jól megírt, roppant szellemes és ugyanakkor hihetetlenül pörgős, kicsit elemelt változata, ami mindig komoly feladatot jelentett számomra.
– A Lorelai-t alakító színésznőnek, Lauren Graham-nek a játéka, a gesztusai mennyire nyújtottak segítséget, támpontot Önnek? Lehetett rá építeni?
– Igen, kifejezetten. Egy szinkronrendező legfontosabb feladata – hiszen ott dől el minden –az, 
hogy kinek adja a szerepet. Neki kell tudnia, „megálmodnia”, hogy ki az a színész, aki az adott karakterre leginkább rá tud simulni. Megkönnyíti az én dolgomat is, mert tudja, hogy a színészi eszközeimmel mennyire tudom lefedni a szereplőt. Ezért nem volt nehéz dolgom. Ha ilyen hosszan kapcsolatban vagyok egy másik színésznővel, sokféle szituációban látom dolgozni, egy idő után megismerem, tudom, milyenek a gesztusai, hogyan beszél, és attól kezdve könnyebb a feladat.
– Ön miben látja a Szívek szállodája sikerét? Miért más ez, mint a többi sorozat?
– Megmondom őszintén, hogy nem tudom, mert nem nézek sorozatokat. Lehet, hogy majd eljön annak is az ideje, hogy a televízió sokkal fontosabb szerepet játszik majd az életemben, de most még nincs rá időm.
A szituáció izgalmas és nagyon időszerű: egy egyedülálló anya neveli a kamasz lányát, és ez az egész kiegészül egy amerikai kisváros barátságos, élhetőbb légkörével, amivel talán könnyebben azonosul a magyar néző. Szellemessége és humora bámulatra méltó, és az a profizmus, ahogyan az eseményeket egyáltalán nem kiszámítható módon görgetik. Nem csak jó vagy csak rossz embereket láttat; mindenki kicsit esendő, mindenki hibázik. Talán ez is oka lehet a sikernek.
– Akadt olyan feladat a szinkronizálások során, ami kifejezetten nagy nehézséget okozott Önnek, esetleg pont a Szívek szállodája kapcsán?
– Volt egy Whitney Houston-dal, amit Lorelai énekelt karaoke-formában, miközben szerelmet vallott Luke-nak és bocsánatot kért a lányától. Az angol szövegre rá kellett énekelni a magyar változatot, el kellett játszani az érzelmeket és közben sajátos módon énekelni. Erre külön fel kellett készülnöm. Ipod-on hallgattam a dalt, így gyakoroltam. Ez különleges kihívás jelentett.
– Lehet különbséget tenni, hogy melyik műfajt szereti jobban csinálni szinkronban: a sorozatokat, a játékfilmeket vagy az animációkat?
– Mindent, ami igényes. Ha jó a szerep és jó színészek játszanak, akkor az nagyon megkönnyíti a dolgunkat.
– Egy másik, szintén nagy népszerűségnek örvendő produkcióban, a Született feleségekben Eva Longoria Parker-nek kölcsönzi a hangját. Róla, a színészi képességeiről mi a véleménye?
– Eva-ban benne van egyfajta izgalmas nőiesség; pici, rugalmas, szexis nő, humorral és öniróniával. Személyes sikere lett ezzel a sorozattal, mert nagyon illik rá ez a szerep. Imádják a férfiak is és a nők is, mert olyan szabadságot képvisel, amire titokban sokan vágynak. A történet alakulásával egyre fontosabb szerepet kapott. Volt idő, amikor a sorozat szinte csak róla szólt, amikor kifejezetten rá voltak kiélezve az események, és szinte három mondatonként poént mondott. Ezt nagyon élveztem. Rendkívül sokat nevettünk munka közben. De még nekem is meglepő, hogy a szinkronizáló színészt is azonosítják a szerepével. Lehet, hogy egy kicsit én ilyen is vagyok?
– Lezárult az idei évad. Ebben az évben is több helyen játszott, szerte az országban. Hogy sikerült az színházi időszak?
– Színházi szempontból érdekes év volt. Egyrészt még mindig játszom a Vígszínházban – ezek olyan darabok, amelyek évek óta mennek. De néhány előadást elvállaltam Sopronban is. Darvasi Ilona lett az ottani színház igazgatója, akivel előtte a Turay Ida Társulatban is dolgoztam – amely egy modernkori Déryné Társulatként fogható fel –, és így került szóba, hogy esetleg Sopronban is játszhatnék vendégként. Bemutattuk a Janika című darabot, amiben a címszerepet játszottam, és Kerényi Imre rendezésében az Egy pohár vizet. Az idei évadban Herczeg Ferenc Kék róka című darabjában láthatnak.
Budapesten Isadora Duncant játszom egy nagyon izgalmas színdarabban. A kivételes képességű táncosnő életéről musical készült, amelynek az ősbemutatója a Pinceszínházban volt.
Készítettem egy gyermek CD-t, amely Kaszás Attila utolsó rádiós meséit tartalmazza, és felléptem egy számomra különösen érdekes előadásban, a Ghymes együttes karácsonyi koncertjén a Budapest Sportarénában.
Így aztán ez az évadom meglepően sűrűre sikerült. Ugyanakkor nagyon speciálisra is. A vidéki színházaknak az a sajátosságuk, hogy egy színdarabot többnyire egy évadon át játszanak. Szokatlan és furcsa, hogy miközben rengeteget dolgoztunk, ezek az előadások nem maradnak sokáig színen.
– A Vígszínházban A Padlásban mondhatjuk, hogy húsz éve bújik estéről estére a Kölyök jelmezébe. Ezt a darabot töretlen sikerrel játszák, és teljesen elvarázsolja a közönséget. Van az Ön számára különösebb jelentősége ennek a szerepnek – amellett természetesen, hogy ilyen régóta megy –, vagy ez is „csak” egy olyan szerep, mint a többi?
– Kicsit olyan ez a 20 év ugyanazzal a szereppel, mintha az ember úgy maradna középiskolás, hogy már nem diák, hanem történetesen anyuka. Mintha mindig vissza kellene lépni valahová, ami már elmúlt. Ugyanakkor az, hogy a lelkében és a testében meg kell őrizniemagát nagy feladat, és nagyon jót tesz.
– Ha Ön döntené el, hogy kivel készüljön a következő interjú – akiben kedveli azt, ahogyan dolgozik vagy sokat ad esetleg a véleményére –, kit választana?
– Nagyon szeretem László Zsolt munkáit, de Dörner Györgyöt sem lehetne nélkülözni a magyar szinkronból.
