– A szívemben, legbelül nem vagyok teljesen városi, hiszen én is vágyódom a nyugalmasabb percek, a békésebb órák után. Ezt a sorozatot is azért szerettem, mert nem az a pörgős, villogós, zajos, mint mostanában futók legtöbbje. Itt lassan és szépen haladnak a történések, nyugodtan rajzolódnak ki a karakterek. Nagyon jól megírtak a figurák, mélyek a párbeszédek, amelyeket magyarul is öröm elmondani, a mikrofon előtt eljátszani.
– Milyen volt a kollégákkal együtt dolgozni?
– Nagyon jó volt a csapat. Haás Vander Péterrel, nem először voltunk szerelmesek. Urbán Andreával most dolgoztam először hosszabb munkában, és büszkén mondhatom, hogy igen jó „testvér” volt. A többiek is jó partnerek voltak a munkában.
– Claire halála hatalmas megdöbbenést okozott nemcsak az ausztrál, de a hazai rajongók körében is. Hogyan tudta ezt a helyzetet megoldani?
– Bár az interneten előre értesültem a haláláról, de így sem tudtam elhinni egészen annak bekövetkeztéig. Az utolsó pillanatokig abban reménykedtem, hogy valamilyen más módon fog a sorozatból elmenni. Aztán következett az a bizonyos rész, amely nemcsak nekem, de Urbán Andinak is igen komoly megrázkódtatást és megterhelést jelentett. Nagyon meglepődtem, amikor először láttam a szakadékba zuhanás képeit. Amikor végül szembesültem a megváltoztathatatlannal, felfoghatatlannak tűnt, hogy egy ilyen nő nincs többé a sorozatban.
– Magánemberként élne-e a lehetőséggel, hogy valahová kiköltözzön a városból?
– Egyelőre nem tudom elképzelni, mivel három gyermeket nevelek. Most bent élek a város közepén, mert úgy gondolom, hogy a jelenlegi munkatempóm mellett nem engedhetem, meg, hogy órákig utazhassak egy-egy munkahelyre, és onnan haza. Később, persze, ha a gyerekek önállósodnak és kirepülnek, lehet, hogy újragondolom majd a mostani álláspontomat.
– Évek óta nem láthatjuk sem színpadon, sem filmen. Viszont több kulturális műsorban dolgozott, és jelenleg is műsorvezetőként szerepel az ATV egyik kulturális ajánló műsorában. Tudatos volt-e ez a döntése?
– Igen, mert a színházi munkák már nem jelentették azt az örömet, mint amikor elkezdtem a pályát. Viszont érdekelni kezdett a média másik oldala, így először szerkesztőként, majd műsorvezetőként is megmutathattam a tudásomat. Azóta – szerencsémre – közreműködhetek a Mindentudás Egyeteme sorozatban, és sajtófőnöke lehetek a pécsi színházi találkozóknak is. Emellett a szinkron továbbra is lehetőséget ad, hogy művészi munkát végezhessek.
