Nanu, nanu – száll az űrben a kiáltás. Rövid zuhanás után megérkezik a Földre a hang gazdája, Mork, ahol egy csinos fiatal lány, Mindy veszi pártfogásába. Így kezdődik az Egy úr az űrből című nagysikerű amerikai filmsorozat, amely meghozta a főszereplő Robin Williamsnek a világhírt.
A főszereplő magyarhangja Rudolf Péter egyik alapélményének tartja a sorozatot, amelyet még fiatalon látott.
– Nagyon tetszett a film, és jó volt Maros Gábor szinkronja is – meséli a művész. Amikor a tv2 újra megvásárolta a sorozatot, a stáb tagjai egy fiatalabb hangot kerestek, és így esett rám a választás. Azért szeretem Mork figuráját, mert a mai nehéz, időnként szürke világunkba egy kis fényt hoz megnyilvánulásaival.
Ráadásul néhány hónappal ezelőtt együtt játszhattam Robin Williams-el, a nálunk forgatott Hazudós Jakab című alkotásban. Az egyik forgatási szünetben megemlítettem neki, hogy elég sokszor szinkronizálom. Ő örült a hírnek, mert így élőben találkozhatott a magyarhangjával. Nagyon jó volt a forgatás hangulata, Robin állandóan mókázott, tartotta az emberekben a lelket.
Nemcsak a nézőknek, de nekünk és az alkotóknak is – Orosz Ildikó szinkronrendező, Királybíró Sarolta hangmérnök – nagyon jó „murit” jelent ez a munka. A filmbeli poénokon mi is jókat szoktunk mulatni, sőt, ha nagyon fárasztó a munka akkor hasonlóakkal szórakoztatjuk magunkat.
Partnernőmmel, Kökényesi Ágival, hetente két napon keresztül napi 8-10 órákat állunk a mikrofon előtt, mivel reggeltől-estig három epizódot kell felvennünk.

Kollégáimhoz hasonlóan engem is többször azonosítottak egy-egy hangommal. Előfordult, hogy a kislányomnak szóltam a villamoson, mire két kisfiú felkacagott: „Figyeld, az Atom-Anti”. Szonja mindig megemlíti, ha apukáját hallja valamelyik filmben. Saját magamat nem szoktam visszahallgatni, egyedül az Esőember „főszerepével” találkoztam, amikor egyszer véletlenül bementem egy moziba és pont ezt a filmet játszották.
